Privacy policy

AG360, land surveyors, takes the protection of your personal information seriously. This policy explains what information we collect, why, who we share it with and what your rights are. It is written in accordance with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, as amended by Law 25.

1. Person in charge of the protection of personal information

The person in charge of the protection of personal information at AG360 is the company's president. You may reach them at info@ag-360.ca or by mail, at any of the offices listed on our Our offices page.

2. Information we collect

We collect only the information necessary for the purposes described below.

Quote request. Name, email address, telephone number, address or location of the property concerned, type of work requested, office concerned and any information you choose to include in your message.

Job application. Name, email address, telephone number, position applied for, message and the résumé in PDF format that you upload.

Site browsing. IP address, browser type and pages viewed, by means of cookies and measurement tools, only to the extent that you have consented to them.

We collect no sensitive information, no banking data and no biometric information through this site.

3. Purposes of the collection

The information collected is used to answer your requests and prepare quotes, to carry out the surveying assignments entrusted to us, to process applications received, to meet our professional and legal obligations, in particular those arising from the Land Surveyors Act and the regulations of the Ordre des arpenteurs-géomètres du Québec, and to improve the site when you have consented to audience measurement cookies.

4. Consent

You consent to the collection by voluntarily submitting a form. Consent to non-essential cookies is obtained separately, through the banner shown on your first visit. You may change or withdraw that consent at any time using the cookie management link on the site. Withdrawing consent has no retroactive effect.

5. Disclosure to third parties

We do not sell or rent your personal information. It may be disclosed to the suppliers who host the site and deliver our email, to our professional partners where carrying out your assignment requires it and you have been informed, and to public authorities where the law requires it. Some of these suppliers may process information outside Quebec, in particular in the United States and the European Union. A privacy impact assessment is carried out before any disclosure outside Quebec, as required by law.

6. Retention and destruction

Quote requests are kept for as long as needed to process the file, then for the retention period applicable to professional records. Unsuccessful applications, résumés included, are kept for no more than two years, unless you ask for them to be destroyed sooner. Information is securely destroyed once those periods have elapsed.

7. Security

The site is served exclusively over HTTPS. Access to the forms received and to résumés is limited to the people who need it in the course of their duties. Uploaded files are stored outside the public area of the server and the forms are protected against automated submissions. In the event of a confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious injury, we notify the people concerned and the Commission d'accès à l'information, and the incident is entered in a register.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to ask for it to be corrected if it is inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous, to ask for it to be destroyed when keeping it is no longer justified, to withdraw your consent, and to ask that your computerized information be given to you in a structured, commonly used technological format. To exercise these rights, write to info@ag-360.ca. We respond within 30 days. If our answer does not satisfy you, you may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

9. Cookies

Strictly necessary cookies keep the site working and do not require your consent. Audience measurement and advertising cookies are set only after your explicit consent. Until you have consented, no advertising identifier is transmitted.

We may change this policy. The update date shown at the top of the page indicates the version in force.
